We love this Rumi quote which encapsulates our inner longing to infuse the material side of existence with the Love, Wisdom, and Intuitive knowing of our Soul. With the help of astrology and our own inner bravery we may learn to stand with our feet on the ground and our arms to heaven. We are also learning to be community: to embrace our uniqueness whilst discovering our connectedness. A new earth, a better society. It is a task that seems more than we can imagine. But like all tasks, one step at a time. The Astrology Collective, our community, is our first step. We engage in insightful discussions, workshops and events to foster a sense of belonging, nurture our inner wisdom, and embrace a loving and supportive community. Have your own chart read by members of the group - Read each other’s charts—or just sit back and listen. All levels of expertise, advanced to beginners are welcome Participating in these events can deepen your understanding of astrology, making it a valuable tool for soul development. - Interactive Astrology Talks, Workshops and Courses: We have monthly Lectures and Workshops given by amazing and highly respected Astrologers. We also have Medical Astrology classes by our resident Medical Astrologer (author of best seller: Your Astrological Health). Embark on a learning journey that lets you explore the fundamentals of astrology through our rich content and video lessons. This helps you understand the complex science behind astrology whilst helping you develop your knowledge for self-growth.
- Astrology Book Club Online. I love our book-reading club and though it has been an ‘occasional’ pleasure I keep revisiting it, like an old family friend. Our book club always involves reading together out loud. We share the book on the zoom screen and whoever wants to read a page to us is welcome to do so. As we read, we stop and share our thoughts. All readings will be recorded and sent to those of us participating for that book. Book Club happens at a time and place that suits those of you who want to join in. We choose the books between us.
- Astrology Resources Gain access to our growing library of Astrology Resources. We have a Beginner's booklet with a Jungian and Soul-based flavour influenced by Esoteric Astrology. Esoteric Astrology Resources. Diagrams. Worksheets. Chapters on each Planet from a mytho/archetypal perspective.
- Areas of Special Interest. This aspect of our community is one of my favourites as here we attempt to bring together astrology and the world that we live in right now. How is astrology influenced by patriarchal, capitalistic ways of seeing life. Can we re-create the lens through which we understand astrology? These questions and more to be explored.
- The Earth, the Sun and the Moon This is the last thing I am mentioning but eventually it will be first. It is still a work in progress. But, in my opinion, we need to see the Masculine and Feminine not as the Sun and Moon but as the Sun and Earth. The Moon still has a place as intermediary between them. This will be a place for me to share my writing, chat about it and workshop.
